Since October 2016, Goddard Consulting have been appointed as Principal Designer Advisers for an exciting mixed-use development in Euston, London. This ambitious upcycling project officially commenced on site this week and will see the existing Sixties concrete office building stripped back and rebuilt as part of an extensive regeneration plan for Euston.
The new 23,000 sqm building will dedicate 17,000 sqm to Grade A office space alongside 17 new homes, including 6 at London Affordable Rents, plus a range of cafes, restaurants and shops. The development has a strong emphasis on wellbeing, with internal and external gardens, a feature staircase encouraging occupiers to interact between floors, and a full height ‘lantern’ façade to provide a wealth of natural light. Natural materials that meet the highest BRE Green Guide rating will be used wherever possible.
