Société Générale, Tower Hill

The CHP systems project involved the upgrade of the existing generator system and the removal and replacement of four cooling towers and two chiller units including the reconfiguration of control systems, associated electrical and pipe work connections and the subsequent testing and commissioning. The project was carried out partly on the roof of the building and required crane operations therefore a secure site had to be established to protect the public.

The switchgear project included the complete replacement of two main LV Switch boards and associated works in order for a smooth change over and an improvement of the installation’s resilience in the future.

The refurbishment works on levels 4-8 included new services, ceilings, lighting, data cabling, power and the means to accommodate 1,600 new work workstations.
