This Spring, acclaimed British sculptor, Phyllida Barlow, is taking over the contemporary galleries of the Royal Academy of Arts with her new large-scale works. The exhibit is located in The Gabrielle Jungels-Winkler Galleries of the recently expanded Burlington Gardens campus, and features towering seemingly precarious structures which turn the conventions of traditional sculpture on its head.
Goddard Consulting provided the Royal Academy with Principal Designer Adviser and Client Adviser services for this exhibition, which can be added to a long list of projects we have undertaken at the institute. Other recent projects include the current ‘Bill Viola / Michelangelo’ exhibit, and ‘The Renaissance Nude’ which will open on March 3rd. We are also delighted to have been appointed to the 2019 Summer Exhibition, having previously worked on the 2018 exhibition, the Academy’s most famous exhibition to date.
