4-5 Arlington Street, Mayfair

The conversion of two eighteenth century houses at 4-5 Arlington Street into five luxury apartments received the Evening Standard New Home Awards 2012 Winner for the Best Penthouse.

During the 18th century, when Arlington Street was nicknamed ‘Ministerial Street’ because of the number of politicians living there, No.5 Arlington Street was home to Britain’s longest serving Prime Minister, Sir Robert Walpole.

The apartments at The Walpole Mayfair, adjacent to the Ritz Hotel in the heart of St. James’s, retain many period features such as the fireplaces and large windows whilst using modern technology such as Lutron lighting and Creston home automation systems.
