HMS Belfast

HMS Belfast is a Town-class light cruiser, built in 1936 for the Royal Navy. She is now permanently moored as a museum ship on the Thames and is operated by the Imperial War Museum.

Goddard Consulting were appointed as CDM Consultants to oversee the replacement of two communications masts on board. The complex works required the use of cranage mounted on barges to carry and implement the masts, and Tower Bridge had to be raised to allow these vessels through.
